Partha Paul, Ph.D., MBA
Partha’s passion is fostering innovation and commercialization of technologies, so it is accessible to patients. He is a biotech/medtech executive with U.S. and international experience in business and corporate development, strategic planning, technology commercialization, P&L management and building companies. He has a strong background working at early-stage biotech and medtech companies. At AtheroGenics, Inc., he led company value creation through partnerships in cardiovascular and autoimmune diseases and formulated strategies to enter new therapeutic areas. At Interleukin Genetics, an early stage in-vitro diagnostic company, he led all corporate development activities that transformed the consumer genetics test company into a clinic-focused in vitro diagnostic and companion diagnostic company launching products in U.S. and Europe. More recently, he established the North America business of an early-stage medtech company, LPIXEL, Inc that uses machine learning and adaptive image recognition technology for applications in cellular, pathology and radiology image analysis. His biotech and medtech industry experiences are paired with experience in large medical equipment/device companies such as GE Healthcare and Philips Health systems. At GE Healthcare, he was the Vice President, Strategy and Business for South Asia region and played a leading role in transforming the business. At Philips Health, he was the Business Unit Head, Image Guided Therapy with a full P&L management responsibility. Partha lives in Boston and spends most of his free time having fun with the family, traveling, and watching various sport events.
